Requirements to get verified¶
Working draft ahead!
We're still tweaking these requirements, so feel free to file a issue to share feedback or submit a patch for documentation-related changes.
Basics¶
- Account handle and/or DID should be linked on the wiki project's home page or REAMDE in its sources and either uses the same domain as the wiki project if it does have its own or can be easily identifiable when searched.
- Its Bluesky profile should be complete with a display name, bio, profile picture and banner.
- Accounts must be at least a month old and have some activity in the Atmosphere (including Bluesky activity)
- For wiki project accounts, it should be primarily managed by its wiki admins and mods or the project's developers and/or maintainers for wiki software projects. If maintained by its contributors, it should be coordinated with the wiki administration first regarding access and sucession processes.
- For personal accounts, you can only verify one account per person and they should use their primary wiki project account or primary code forge accont for non-Tangled users for verification process.
- While the usage of legal name is not required to request for verification
Project licensing and access¶
- Wiki project content should be licensed under a free license (i.e. CC BY and CC BY-SA). Exceptions may be provided on a case-by-case basis.
- We only accept wiki projects that are publicly accessible and does not require account registration to view its content or behind paywalls. Firewall usage and web security measures are accepted to mitigate attacks and abusive requests as long as it is kept accessible.
- For wiki software projects, its code should be licensed under a open-source license approved by the Open Source Initiative. Open-core software projects may be accepted on a case-by-case basis provided the majority of its codebase are freely licensed under those approved licenses.
